People who know me are often flabbergasted by the fact that I've never had or wanted a Facebook page. Well times are changing I suppose because I've got one now. Sort of. It's more of a fan page really.

I intend to keep the blog and the deviant page rolling of course, this is not a replacement. If you're the type who prefers following artists via social media then it's for you.

Go to my official Facebook fan page

The Sketchtravel Exhibit is on it's way to the Kyoto International Manga Museum, but to make it happen some funds need to be raised. I've contributed a couple of my Bookplate Betties books with original drawings in them. If you're interested you can find the Ebay auction here:…

Banana Girl pre-orders are now closed. Regular orders will resume in the near future though, so keep your eyes on this space.
To those who pre-ordered the Banana Girl statue, I want to give an update on your order. As you have probably noticed there has been a slight delay in the manufacturing, I was expecting them to ship by the end of June. I apologize for the wait, but it's nearly over. I've received conformation that they will ship early next week, possibly even as early as Monday July 9th. If you ordered the nude variant, it will ship even sooner. This week I was told. Again, thank you so much for your patience.
My Banana Girl is now a statue!
Sculpted by my friend Anders Ehrenborg in association with Digital Banana Studio As I write this she is well into production with a ship date of late June this year. She stands 6 1/2" tall (Including the base) and is individually numbered and limited to an edition of 225 copies. As well as a nude variant that is limited to an edition of 25.

A limited quantity is now available for pre-order, once they're ready they'll ship directly from the manufacturer to you.

It looks like I've already sold my entire supply of Comix Buro Presing: Sketchbooks. They went much faster than I anticipated.

If you missed out, don't worry, I'm expecting a new shipment of inventory from the publisher. As soon as I get them I'll put them back up for sale on the blog.

If you already ordered your copy before I disabled the button, no worries, it's coming.
Thanks for waiting!
I have a limited supply of my sketchbooks from Comix Buro and they're for sale over on my blog…
Just click the "add to cart" button on the right hand side of the blog.

They're all signed and numbered to an edition of 900. 48 pages, about 7 x 8 1/2 inches. Contains almost entirely unpublished material and even some stuff I've never even put on the internet.
I've donated my Kimono piece to Artists Help Japan

It's a charity movement initiated by my friend Dice Tsutsumi responding to the immediate needs of earthquake & tsunami survivors as well as short-term to long-term recovery projects undertaken by the affected communities.

The original art is now up for auction on Ebay here… until April 5th, as well as many other pieces by my fellow Pixarians. Check it out.…
I'll be attending the comics festival in Angoulême France at the end of the month, January 26th - 29th. You should be able to find me at the Comix Buro booth… signing my new sketchbook!
Hope to see you there!
Instead of attending the San Diego Comic con this year, I'll be going to Tr!ckster.
You'll find it conveniently across the street from the San Diego convention center.

If you haven't heard about it, it's a retail space: specializing in creator owned wares including small run and limited edition books, fine art prints, toys, clothing, and more. As well as an art gallery space and a series of symposia focused on creator driven demonstrations and discussions.
Should be pretty neat-o.
I'll be there Friday and Saturday but it goes all the way from Tuesday JULY 19 to Sunday JULY 24, 2011.

Hosted at the San Diego Wine and Culinary Center
200 Harbor Drive, Suite 120
San Diego, CA 92101

If you're going to Comic con go across the street and check it out.
