That's just an awesome picture. Not just the overall "dog-fighter" design but the little details; from the bomb score on his arm to the pinup girl giving the Iron Man of this era a kiss for luck on a heart that probably runs on diesel (maybe with a little water added when he needs to go really fast). Excellent work!
Cool design! Would make a great toy, if someone wanted to produce a desktop version, perhaps an articulated paperweight or maquette. The design itself would be equally at home in World War Two or Korea, as its shape and colors harken to either the P-51 Mustang or F-86 Sabre. Speaking of WW 2, will we ever get to see some pictures of Rex Steele or Penny? The whole "Nazi Smasher" concept was the greatest, most original idea for an action comedy I'd heard of in years.
Thanks man. At first I was making it too complex and I was never happy with it. It wasn't until I started streamlining that I thought it worked. As for the joints I was imagining what the toy might be like if there was a toy.
