This story was published in english by Image comics in the anthology Afterworks 2. It's also found in the French language Rex Steele compilation. There is no English language version of that book yet though.

Fantastic. A mix of modern and golden age stylistic conventions. I especially love the perfect amount of disintegration of the airframe.

I only notice one thing that bugs me, and only an aircraft nerd like me would notice: The DR1 had a rotary engine, so the cylinders would be spinning along with the prop ;)

I love the baron, and I'd be mad if you got his fighting attitude wrong. It's better to die from a single bullet then to fall to death in a plane. I still like Rex though too.
